Inside Sales Representative

This position is responsible for the generation of new sales opportunities using telephone, email, and social networks within specified industries.
Activities include: new account development, attainment of lead goals, qualify customer leads by telephone and email in an effort to gain an appointment
and deliver the leads to the appropriate sales representative. Also responsible for logging activity into Salesforce CRM and keeping CRM up to date.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for prospecting and opening new business for assigned territory and meeting lead targets established by the company.
Will qualify opportunities by understanding customer needs, budgets, decision making process.
Follow up with counterparts in field sales to ensure leads are closed.
Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports that track progress to plan.
Ability to obtain leads through the internet or other list generating opportunities that matches the current and future customer base.
Successful Candidates Shall Possess the Following Qualities:
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
Outbound call center experience is a plus.
Effective verbal and listening skills.
Ability to function effectively, independently and in a team environment.
Basic computer skills requires with an emphasis in Microsoft office products.
CRM experience preferred.
