Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator / Business Development Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans and generating new sales leads to support the Sales Department and Sales Executives. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential!

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing plans proactively including the coordination of trade shows and events, e- mail campaigns, etc.
  • Market research to identify the industry trends and develop leads.
  • Develop new business opportunities via telephone, email and social media.
  • Identify key buying influencers and decision makers within these prospects to determine budget and timeline.
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients in Salesforce.com, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached.
  • Leadership, timeliness, professionalism, desire to learn, and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Proactively engage key internal representatives to receive feedback on lead quality and campaign progress.

Experience Requirements

  • Strong business writing skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM software
  • 1-3 Years marketing, telemarketing, researching, and contacting companies to find right contacts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required. Fluency in Spanish and/or French a plus.
  • Experience in Project Management and/or the Construction Industry preferred
