Systemates, Inc. is looking for an individual for a Sr. Sales Executive position for a flag-ship construction management program: Projectmates. Since 1995 the company has provided a software solution to many Fortune 500 companies to assist them in managing their construction projects. This position is based at the company headquarters in Richardson, Texas.


  • Hunter with successful track record of prospecting and acquiring new logos as well as meeting sales goals
  • Excellent phone and presentation skills
  • Ability to speak and present to large groups
  • Successful track record of selling enterprise software (preferred) or intangible solutions to C-Level (B2B)
  • Negotiation
  • Self-motivated to sell
  • Consultative Sales Experience
  • Technologically savvy and able to learn new technologies quickly
  • Construction Industry knowledge a plus


  • 4 yr. college degree


  • 5 years+

Key Responsibilities

  • New account acquisition, including prospecting, independently following up on inbound leads, qualifying, solution selling, negotiation and closing
  • Develop strategic prospecting plans for territory development, working with other team members where appropriate.
  • Demonstrate strong qualification skills to provide accurate forecast reports to management on opportunities as required
  • Excellent presentation skills for in-person or web based meetings
  • Apply experience in navigating through sales cycle to drive deals to closure, identifying key decision makers and business drivers.
  • Keep up to date on new product releases to maximize opportunities in the prospect and account base.
  • Apply thorough knowledge of all Systemates' solutions to address customer's business requirements
  • Apply strong understanding of key competitors and understanding of how the company's products compare with competitors
  • Proactively develop and manage a mix of small and large deals, while focusing on closing deals with a high likelihood of success
  • Provide a consultative sales approach through an extended sales cycle to consistently meet or exceed quota
  • Demonstrate ability to represent Systemates with all levels of the accounts management team
  • Follow company's policies and sales procedures through the sales cycle
